Using the MCCI ExpressDisk Host Drivers is an easy way to increase storage throughput. For pre-USB 3.0 systems, use the MCCI ExpressDisk BOT Driver. For USB 3.0 systems, use either MCCI ExpressDisk BOT or MCCI ExpressDisk UAS.

The MCCI ExpressDisk UAS Driver is a complete replacement for Mass Storage Class and utilizes the Windows-provided SCSIport/Storport Driver to achieve maximum data throughput speed. The MCCI ExpressDisk UAS Driver provides 300% of BOT throughput.

The MCCI ExpressDisk UAS Driver takes full advantage of USB 3.0 features:

  • Full-duplex transport
  • Overlapped operation’s
  • Native Command Queuing (NCQ)

The MCCI ExpressDisk BOT Driver utilizes the Windows-provided SCSIport/Storport Driver to deliver better performance. The driver combines multiple Read/Write requests into a single request to achieve the highest throughput.

MCCI ExpressDisk BOT driver provides 30% or better performance when compared to other BOT drivers.

MCCI ExpressDisk

The MCCI ExpressDisk UAS Driver and the MCCI ExpressDisk BOT Driver function as if they are OS-version neutral. MCCI’s Storport miniport driver is loaded for Windows Vista SP1, Server 2003, and later Windows versions. MCCI’s SCSIport miniport driver is loaded for Windows 2K, XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 without SPs.
